Asus Protect 3.0 Motherboards With Intel Socket LGA775 and AMD Socket AM3
Asus has introduced three beginner-level motherboards (MoBo) which are equipped with Asus Protect 3.0 technology that can reduce radiation by 50 percent. Asus Protect 3.0 in the motherboard includes two models that support Intel Socket LGA775, and 1 model again support AMD Socket AM3. All those motherboards have the $110 price.
Three Asus motherboards models in question are P5G41TD-M PRO, P5G41C-M and M4N68T-M, equipped with Asus Xtreme Design feature and Protect 3.0. The last technology on those three motherboards have a good anti-radiation. While Asus Energy Processing Unit chip can reduce power consumption by 80 percent.
However, outside of those three models, is only M4N68T-M Asus model that support with Socket AM3 AMD microprocessor and also comes with Nvidia GeForce 7025/nForce 630a chipset. Meanwhile, two other motherboards support Intel Socket LGA775 chip with Intel G41 chipset feature. All three motherboards support DDR3 memory, while P5G41C-M only support DDR2. In fact, all motherboards feature 4 phase power, 1 PCIe x16 slot, Gigabit LAN, 8-channel HD Audio, and 4-port SATA 3Gb/s.
Asus P5G41TD-M has an HDMI port, DVI-D, RGB, while P5G41C-M does not have a DVI-D port. While Asus M4N68T-M MoBo only support RGB for display connection. For the price, Asus motherboard P5G41TD-M PRO model for $93, P5G41C-M was $90, and M4N68T-M is $60.
